REQUIREMENTS

  • The applicant must be able to maintain and accommodate themselves and any dependents without taking employment (other than self-
    employment or business).
  • The applicant must make the Ireland their main home and spend at least 50% of their time in the UK (6 out of 12 months) in order
    to maintain the visa status.
  • Applicants must provide an overseas criminal record certificate.

INVESTMENT OPTIONS

Applicants must invest 100% of the specified investment.

  1. An investment of EURO 500,000 into a Business.
  2. An investment of EURO 1,000,000 into an Investment Fund.
  3. An investment of EURO 2,000,000 into a Real Estate Fund.
  4. An investment of EURO 5,000,000 into a Endowment.

PROCESS

  1. The visa application shall be submitted to Irish embassy or consulate.
  2. Upon successful visa application, an initial 3-year visa will be issued.
  3. The visa can be extended for a further 2 years providing that the applicant maintains the investment.
  4. Indefinite Leave to Remain can be applied for after a variable period depending upon the amount invested as seen above.

PERMANENT RESIDENCY

  1. Foreign nationals must apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain and to become Irish permanent residents.
  2. Applicants must spend at least 10 months per year in Ireland.
  3. Applicants must demonstrate a knowledge of English and life in the Ireland.
  4. Permanent residents have the freedom to live and work in Ireland without any restriction.
